Don't spend time fumbling with your smartphone when you want to access Deer Valley Credit Union's mobile banking app.1 High-tech biometric technology eliminates the need for our Arizona members to punch in a password when they want to check balances, transfer funds or pay bills.
 
  • No need to type a password. Your fingerprint or Face ID® is all you need to access our mobile app.
  • No extra setup. Our app works with the fingerprint or Face ID access you already set up on your device.
  • Works with Apple® devices2 with iOS3 version 8 or newer: iPhone® 5s, 6, 6 Plus, iPad Air® 2, iPad mini® 3, or newer.
  • Works with devices with Android Marshmallow™ (Android 6.0 or newer): Google Pixel™, Nexus 7™, Galaxy S7™, Motorola™, and other Android™ based phones4.
  • For enabled devices, you will see an information screen in the login area of the DVCU mobile app. Follow the directions to enable fingerprint or Face ID access.


How to Enable Touch ID/Fingerprint Access ​

Here's what you do when your device has already been saved as a personal device:
 
  1. Log in to the DVCU mobile app and tap Settings.
  2. Once in Settings, tap Settings from top row and Personal Devices.
  3. Click on the device that says Current.
  4. Press the button next to Enable Touch ID/Fingerprint until it says ON and then click Save.
  5. You will be sent a one-time password via text or email (depending on how your notifications are setup) and will enter it, then tap Submit.
  6. Place a check in the box next to “I agree” and select Continue.
  7. You will then be prompted to place the fingerprint you want to use on the phone’s reader until it says Success.
  8. A screen stating you have enrolled your fingerprint will display. Upon your next login, you will be prompted to use your fingerprint to automatically log in without having to enter your username or password.

Here's the set-up when your device has not been saved as a personal device:
 
  1. At the login screen of the DVCU mobile app, tap the Remember button until it says ON. Enter your username and password, then tap Submit.
  2. A box will pop up reminding you that you are about to register this device as a personal device. Tap the OK option.
  3. Next, enter the answer to your challenge question and tap Submit.
  4. Enter the name you want to call your device and enable TouchID/Fingerprint Access by selecting ON for both products. Tap Register and Continue.
  5. Place a check in the box next to “I agree” and select Continue.
  6. You will then be prompted to place the fingerprint you want to use on the phone’s reader until it says Success.
  7. A screen stating you have enrolled your fingerprint will display. Upon your next login, you will be prompted to use your fingerprint to automatically log in without having to enter your username or password.

How to Enable Face ID (for Apple devices only)

Here's what you do when your device has already been saved as a personal device:
 
  1. Log in to the DVCU mobile app and tap Settings.
  2. Once in Settings, tap Settings from top row and Personal Devices.
  3. Click on the device that says Current.
  4. Press the button next to Enable Face ID until it says ON and then click Save.
  5. You will be sent a one-time password via text or email (depending on how your notifications are setup) and will enter it, then tap Submit.
  6. Place a check in the box next to “I agree” and select Continue.
  7. You will then be prompted to complete facial recognition until it says Success.
  8. A screen stating you have enrolled your Face ID will display. Upon your next log in, you will be prompted to use your Face ID to automatically log in without having to enter your username or password.

Here's the set-up when your device has not been saved as a personal device:
